"Heaven and earth WILL pass away, but (Jesus said) My WORDS will NEVER pass away !"
About 29 years ago The Holy Spirit lead me to put together a fun way to teach our children (and really, myself as well) The Word of God. God's Word is so WONDERFUL and I had learned the beauty of singing scripture songs at Jesus' people worship services. Since our language is constructed with the alphabet, it seemed that there must be a scripture that The Holy Spirit would guide me to that would be a blessing to our children for each letter of the alphabet.
God gave me that times 2. Then, we learned the beauty of learning whole chapters and even a book of the Bible to music. This is a way to learn how GOD THINKS ! Sometimes, if one learns only isolated verses, the context is not as easily understood.
Anyway, I thankfully launch my first blog today that our son, Elijah, has so graciously set up. It is a momentous day because we are taking our son Elijah to college in Texas today. He will be greatly missed, but He loves God's Word and we know that The Holy Spirit and The Word of Truth that he believes and reads every day will KEEP him.
The Truth for Today is that GOD's WORD will last FOREVER, so believe, LEARN, meditate upon, memorize, speak, PROCLAIM, LIVE IN, and OBEY GOD's WORD TODAY ! As you do, you will join yourself to The LORD in a deeper way and to His people in a powerful loving, cherishing relationships. God's Word in our lives BINDS us to God and to each other like NOTHING ELSE. In The Presence of God is FULLNESS of Joy and there we also find His "sold out" people experiencing that same JOY of KNOWING Him together !
